Otago Community Trust - sponsorship opportunity

Otago Community Trust www.oct.org.nz is generously sponsoring up to 15 rural health professionals from the Otago region to attend the New Zealand Rural General Practice Network’s National Rural Health Conference being held in Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington, 5-6 April.

The Trust will sponsor each successful applicant up to $500 (including gst) to go towards the cost of registration, accommodation and/or travel to attend the conference. Any expenses outside of this cannot be claimed.

Applicants must:

  • Be currently employed as a Nurse, Midwife, Allied Health Professional, Practice Manager or Senior Administrator in either a Rural Hospital, Rural General Practice, Primary Maternity Unit and the Community Sector (home and community support) within the Otago Community Trust Region*
  • As a condition of accepting the scholarship applicants must agree to supplying the Trust with a report, within one month of the conclusion of the conference
  • Provide full receipts of registration, accommodation and/or travel to be reimbursed up to the value of $500 (including GST).

*Otago Community Trust sponsorship is only available for health providers who work in one of these five regions - North Otago, Central Otago, South Otago, Greater Dunedin and the Wānaka ward of the Queenstown Lakes district. This support is not available to doctors or GPs. See the OCT funding region area map here.

Please complete the application form by clicking on the button below. Applications close Friday 15 March. If your application is successful, you will be eligible for the early bird rates for your registration.

Details on how to submit receipts for reimbursement will be emailed at this time.
