Adrian Hakaraia Te Patu

For nearly four decades Adrian has worked for government departments, crown agencies, community organisation, iwi, and health providers including District Health Boards. In more recent years Adrian has been a trainer, lecturer and an advisor in public health, particularly hauora Maori. He is the first indigenous person appointed to the World Federation of Public Health Associations; he is also a board member of the Mental Health Association. Adrian is a mokopuna of Henare Kawana-Witinitara and his mother Moki Te Patu was born at Te Oreore.
