The College of Nurses Aotearoa (NZ) Inc has endorsed the National Rural Health Conference 2025 for 3 days of conference. Members can record their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity via the:

The National Rural Health Conference 2025 has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes. Credits are for active Fellows of the College only.      

Uploading attendance data
It is a requirement for endorsed Registered event providers to record accurate and reliable activity data on behalf of GPs. Attendance data and the activity details must be uploaded within 5 days of the CME activity.  Please note, credits are now worth double for endorsed providers. Credits are only for GP/RHM/Dual Fellows.

The Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care has endorsed the National Rural Health Conference 2025 for their members.

Members can claim time based on the amount they engage with the content, including pre-reading and reflection.

Paramedic Council

Paramedics can obtain CPD for their attendance at the National Rural Health Conference 2025. Follow the below instructions to obtain and record your CPD:

  1. Participate in Sessions: Engage in various seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions offered at the National Rural Health Conference 2025. These activities count towards your CPD hours. Ensure you attend a mix of sessions to cover different aspects of your practice.
  2. Record and Reflect: After each session, record the details including the date, duration, and key learnings. Reflect on how the session has affirmed or changed your practice and how it relates to Te Kaunihera’s standards of cultural safety and clinical competence. This reflection is crucial for meeting CPD requirements.
  3. Declare: When renewing your practising certificate, declare that you have engaged in appropriate CPD activities, including attending the National Rural Health Conference 2025, and that you have met the minimum requirements. Be prepared to provide your CPD records if selected for an audit.

Social Workers

Registered Social Workers can obtain CPD for attending the National Rural Health Conference 2025 via the steps below:

  1. Participate in Sessions: Engage in various seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions offered at the NRHC. These activities count towards your CPD hours. Ensure you attend a mix of sessions to cover different aspects of your practice.
  2. Record Your Activity:
  • ANZASW Members: While the ANZASW CPD log function automatically captures events hosted by ANZASW, it does not cover all PD activities. Therefore, you should manually log your attendance at the NRHC.
  • SWRB Logging: Visit the Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB) website and log your CPD activity there. This ensures your attendance at the conference is officially recorded as part of your CPD requirements.
