Maternity emergencies in rural practice

Childbirth is a healthy event for most women however complications can occur quickly and some without warning.

Te Kāreti o ngā Kaiwhakawhānau ki Aotearoa | New Zealand College of Midwives would like to invite attendees to join them at a workshop which will explore maternity emergencies’ in a rural practice setting. The workshop will enable participants to consider current evidence and practice and also provide the opportunity to refresh skills through hands-on learning.

Facilitators: Kendra Short, Rural Community Midwife, Rhonda Robertson, Elaine Gray and College education team members

Registration fee (morning and afternoon tea is included in each workshop)
Fee: $25.00 per person
